Members of the SC Utility Billing Association recently elected their 2019 – 2020 board of directors. They are President Amy Ashley, Greenwood Commissioners of Public Works; Vice President Keith Wood, Laurens Commission of Public Works; Secretary/Treasurer Leigh Starnes, City of Lancaster; Members at Large Tonya Huell, City of Lake City; Michelle McLemore, Mount Pleasant Waterworks; Darlene Brown, City of West Columbia; and Past President Patsy Hart, Seneca Light and Water.

Tracy Rabon, municipal clerk for the City of Lancaster(opens in a new tab), earned the Certified Municipal Clerk designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks(opens in a new tab).

Livability.com(opens in a new tab) ranked the City of Greenville(opens in a new tab) as No. 10 in its "2019 Top 100 Best Places to Live in America(opens in a new tab)" report. Livability describes the cities in the list as "unique, welcoming, affordable and bursting with opportunities."
